I have just found out that I too am pro-pirate. The reason: I never knew that an opposing position could be taken on this issue. For all of these years, I simply thought that everyone, including myself, was simply "pirate," that it was impossible for "pro" or "anti" to proceed this word.
So you are telling me that there are people who are anti-pirate? Who are these people? Do they have hearts and minds? This just cannot be. I mean, I could understand if you were the Queen of England. Then, yes, certainly you would not like the pirate. But if you are anything but that, then how does/has the pirate infringe(d) upon you? Exactly--he does not.

I've been thinking about if it is still in fact possible to be anti-pirate: It is. Ever seen the movie "Waterworld"? Anyone involved in the making of that film was definitely anti-pirate. They don't even call the pirates something neat like "raiders" or "buccaneers" or just plain "pirates." No, they call them "smokers." What the hell kind of thing is that? Leave it to Kostner to prove the exception to the rule
