There really was so much What The Fuck??? about this ep I don't even know where to begin. Although you did a pretty good job of hitting the highlights.

Exactly this. Because that? Was not Sam. I hope that Sam wasn't supposed be in character, because otherwise the SPN writers have fucking lost their minds.

I couldn't agree with you more. Just... what was that? The entire episode, everything about it, just felt off. Samuel creeps me out, but so does Sam! I don't like Bobby not telling Dean about Sam, I don't like Sam just merrily hunting with a bunch of 'relatives', I don't like Samuel kidnapping that djinn... It all stinks, and not just like a trap for Dean, but like the writers piling up a load of crap they won't be able to clean when the time comes.

Everything about it was off. I was totally creeped out by everyone that wasn't Dean. It's like all the other main characters had been taken over by zombies from outer space.

Yeah, I have to agree with the 'WTF?' Sam not telling Dean for a year, and treating it like he was doing Dean a FAVOR???? I just can't imagine Sam being so cruel, or if I'm supposed to believe that he honestly was trying to do the right thing for Dean, then I can't imagine him being so stupid. I'm disappointed that the writers think Sam would do that. Or that Bobby would go along with it.

I am glad it's back on, and I did enjoy the few parts with Dean/Lisa/Ben together, but I hope we eventually get some kind of better answer to why Sam would stay away.

Anyway, I agree with all that you said, especially about Sam treating like not telling Dean he was alive as some sort of favour. That's just ridiculous. And that Bobby would go along with it is totally wrong, completely out of character.

Since we've now seen 6-02, I have to say that I'm still liking Lisa a lot, and that I just want that stupid hunter family to die and now. Grr.
