I missed being around! I hope to be around more, because I like it, but I'm trying to take things easily and not make big deals of everything. (Yes, I have been therapized.)

Thank you for the congrats; I loved smoking and I still want to do it all the time, but so far, so good.

I'm going for certification as a French-English translator. I speak Italian, too, but when I've finished the program I won't be certified to translate it. I've already done a good deal of translation; now I'm just trying to make it official s that I can get, like, jobs and shit.

I love that your son still remembers Marthapants! And yes, it's a name that sticks with you. In all fairness, his name was originally Martha, but his nickname was Fluffypants because, well, he has really fluffy 'pants' (which is why his name is Martha), and eventually the two just sort of merged. I haven't been able to get into Tumblr. It looks to me like it's just for posting things and dazzit - no discussion or anything. People just 'reblog' - I don't quite get the point of that. I think I always liked LJ the best out of all the blogging host sites because of how much you can do with it, how much customization there is, how conversations can be organised so well, how you could build actual communities.

Anyway, are you 'Maichan' on Tumblr? I'm not sure I'll ever get into it, but I'd like to bookmark you there at least. :)

As for art sharing - I hadn't thought of it, but maybe. I don't really have anything impressive to share, mostly just what I call 'nothing arts'. But they could be scanned, and I do have a printer with a scanner, so...
