I started this journal in high school and now I'm nearly 29. It's funny to look back and see who I was and try to reconcile it with who I have become. I live 3000 miles away from where I was born. I'm happily married and have a beautiful child. I could never have imagined that my life would be what it is today and I am totally at peace with

Once a year, or some other lengthy amount of time, I pop back on here and give it kick to see if it's still twitching. *KICK*

This has been a test of the nonsense-drama- broadcasting system.

I used to envy the attention that wasn't given to me, now sometimes I find myself wishing to be invisible again. It seems that life is simpler with fewer options but we never stop trying to have it all.

Another day, another chance to fuck my life up royally. Yet, somehow I still expect happy endings to find me. I must be crazy because I know I'm not stupid.

There will be a fight. Probably more than one. Why do I feel this will all end in stupidity?

I am soooo weak. Go me. I suck.

Why does doing the right thing have to suck so much? Why does being mature and responsible kill a piece of my soul while I'm trying to save my heart? Why can't I fix us?

It's dark and there's this light I'm trying to reach. I don't know what it is or how to get there but that won't stop me from trying.
