SINCE I'VE ONLY PLAYED THESE TWO IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS OR SO.

Ticky left! He misses him more than he lets on, he's been living by himself, and he doesn't really like it, but he's been okay! Really! Except he was tortured by Dietrich a while ago and he's still not completely over a fire trigger he got out of it.
Roy topped him, though, so he's way better than he was.
SO LATELY, he's been pretty okay. He's devolved into dumb teenager with Abel and things were going smoothly. When suddenly.
WILD AKITO APPEARED
HE'S ACTUALLY OKAY WITH THIS. But in some level he's still hurt and angry over Akito leaving him once.
AKITO DESERVES HIS OWN ESSAY. But to keep it short, Shigure loves him! But it is a very vindictive kind of love in which he totally kinda wants to hurt him. BUT. Shigure's softened up a lot since he first arrived to camp, so he might not be a complete dickhead 24/7. Maybe.
Shigure is not in a bad place mentally! He's a bit worried about the Sohmas, buuuut this is how it's always been and they should have been expecting it anyway. So, he'll do damage control, make sure everyone's keeping it together... and probably get a kick out of the fall out. I THOUGHT HE WAS GETTING BETTER, BUT NO, HE'S STILL AN ASS.
Hilariously I think this will also help him get out of the ._. phase he's been on since the Dietrich thing. DOUBLE WIN.

BOY I'VE NEVER ESSAYED ON HUGHES. Okay, Hughes is a pretty chill guy, he's content in camp. But he's dead.
He was killed, he can't be with his family anymore. He's not really okay with this, he just can't bring himself to be. He has his girls to look after and he failed them by dying. This doesn't come up because he's a chill guy, he's alive in camp, there's people here! And he likes to think about what he can do.
He doesn't like to bring up that he's dead. He'll bring up his family and say he loves them, but he goes a little out of his way to avoid that he died and won't see them again. He won't mind if it comes up, and he'll mention it if he's pressed, but he really prefers to avoid it. Thinking about it depresses him, and really, depressing himself on purpose would be retarded.

WILD ENVY APPEARED
ENVY KILLED HIM. He took him away from his family and to add insult to injury, he did so while wearing his wife's face. YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW MUCH HUGHES WANTS TO KILL ENVY. Every time he sees him he just wants to pull a gun and shoot him repeatedly in the face. It is not a healthy impulse! Hughes knows it's not a healthy impulse! He will not give in to it, but boy he really really wants to.
Then there's Roy. Roy FLIPPED THE FUCK OUT and went after Envy like an AX MURDERER. AND THEN BLASTED HIS HEAD OFF OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THIS WAS NOT COOL.
Hughes just acted and spoke because if he'd thought about it too hard, he would have been at a complete loss. He's kind of at a loss now, but he's very good at keeping it together.
So after CRAZY AX MURDERING ROY. Hughes stayed up for a couple of nights, because. Dude BFF being crazy and his killer being in camp don't add up to good sleep. After Envy got better, Hughes offered him a deal. THIS SUCKS AND HUGHES HATES IT, but he figured it'd be a good way to keep things manageable. SO. As long as Envy doesn't kill or torture anyone, Hughes will intervene if anyone wants to attack him. Envy hasn't accepted the deal, but Hughes is pretty sure he will, as he's more fond of insulting people than fighting them.
More things happened! Yuuko invited him over and he totally passed out on her couch, then he did a Zelda miniquest and fought things, and broke a couple of ribs in the process. He really welcomed the distraction.
But now he talked to Yuuko again and even though things are mostly okay, he's missing his family again, and considering taking Yuuko's deal (he'd see them again for a day, but then all of their pictures would be blank to him) and he can't take Yuuko's deal because Roy would beat him.
So, long story short. Hughes is not happy! He's fine, because he's Hughes and he's perfectly capable of working himself out. But he wants to kill Envy a lot, misses his family and is maybe a bit depressed.
