The Dolls On Meds & Local Band Etiquette Violations

I've been listening to the Goo Goo Dolls non-stop this weekend getting ready for the show tomorrow (cut me a break man, everybody has their guilty pleasures).

i can't really add anything to the goo goo dolls discussion, as i have never really heard any of their stuff besides what is offered up by mtv or the local radio...however, i have read of the replacements connection, and was somewhat intrigued(?)...so. i will be interested in hearing your assessment of the show.

regarding local bands and their poor etiquette, i agree with you that they need to be supportive of one another, and unfortunately, i have witnessed much of the same sort of behavior...leaving during the other band's sets, which of course includes slinging gear and such, trash talking outside the venue...well, sometimes not even outside! pretty shitty. and it really gives everyone a bad impression, not just the other band(s), but the audience as well.

good luck with the next show. i will have to come out and see you guys play sometime!

bah! i was hoping i could make it, but it looks like i need to be hanging out at home during that week. i have a little boy who will be taking off for 10+ days on the 19th, so i must play out the mommy role.

but certainly another time this summer....i will just have to stay informed of the upcoming shows!
