Ok, ever since my mom decided that she wanted me to go to Marian, I've known it was a bad idea. I have huge problems with organized religion, especially the catholic faith. I mean, the last time someone tried to get me to go to church, I handcuffed myself to a weight bench! Almost every belief I have is totally opposite that of the catholic

I flipped off the announcements when they talked about that protest. Those protests are horrid and disgusting. Showing me a dead fetus on a 5 foot tall sign is not going to stop me from walking into that clinic; it's going to make me punch you really hard in the face. "You don't know what it is to be human!" When I went there, about half the student body was not Catholic, and the sex ed was in Junior year and was incredibly comprehensive. Mrs. Predny taught it.
The whole "homosexuality is bad" thing does come from the Old Testament of the Bible, where it proscribes men laying with men, as if they were women. The fact that the Roman Catholic Church said homosexuality was ok AT ALL, even with the "no intercourse" caveat, was a huge step forward... which Pope Benedict seems pretty anxious to reverse. *huge rolls eyes*
