the whole point of the conventions are to drum up the troops. it's like a high school pep rally.

neither side really went any more in depth than the other concerning the "issues."

it was just a bunch of slams to the opposition and addressing the news media.

I know. But I think Palin's overall performance seemed incredibly snobby. I don't remember the DNC being so hateful and having so MANY slams. She has a "high" approval rating but the entire state of Alaska has less people than Oakland county. She tried to organize a book burning while she was mayor. I didn't even know people still did that except maybe extremist religious groups? And don't get me started on the oil drilling or how if one more person mentions McCain's "heroism" I might throw up. It just can't happen.
