As for the way to Cherrygrove, the wild pokemon are the only things you need to worry about. I doubt there's any real threat on that path besides the weather, aru.

The pokemon there aren't much trouble, aru. Pidgeys, Rattatas, and Furrets are the only ones in that area. I wouldn't call them dangerous, aru.

Although, perhaps a flock of Pidgey would be bad, but an electric-type pokemon should take care of them easily, aru.

What else do Pidgey flocks strongly dislike? An electric-type Pokémon defense is unfeasible at the moment.
