It's that time of year again. Mega Con has hit Orlando, and I'm headed there all the way from Atlanta. For the last six years, I've trekked there from either Miami or Savannah, so it's a long drive this time. I'm staying at a hotel in Kissimmee. My XM radio commission is dwindling down to the final 2 shorts. I'm 1/3 through the animation of yet another Wild Bill Production. This one is the most complicated of all the shorts to animate. In reality, the animation itself isn't all THAT complex, but it is when you consider the 2-4 day turnarounds on some of these. This short has a lot. ( Read more... ) -
Polar opposites
It feels funny. One minute I'm doing a commission that involves an old grandmother sucking off a young man. The next, I'm doing one for a kids' radio show that involves a talking chipmunk. The range of work I have.
We've booked our comic con room. Two in fact. We're hoping to fill both so we need six people. -

4 AM, New year, what else?
I'm in the midst of a commission for a certain radio company, and I'm up to my ass in cheap crap to animate in After Effects. Each of these shorts literally takes 2-3 days, and none of them are really anything to show off. Well, except 2 on the way. The LLC can't exactly file its taxes for this year unless you send the shit you said you would send for filing, which you guys were supposed to do a month ago. I'm trying to tell you guys I conducted NO BUSINESS this year, Godblessit!
