This isn't actually for George, but for Canada - since you don't actually have one of those around for him, I thought this would be the best place ( ... )

The reason I posted about it being soccer season was that I went to a Canadian website and soccer was one of the only stories on the main page that I thought I could build a post around.

But I clearly need to do some more research, thank you for pointing all of these things out. It means a lot to get criticism. I started playing Canada kind of on a whim before I really got into the Hetalia fandom, and so I don't think I really did as much research as I should have, and I definitely could use the help. Thanks. ♥

...I love how you said she plays him too American and then promptly followed that up with the soccer example. Do Americans even realize soccer exists? I think we pay attention to it about once every four years. And even then it's like: Ehhhhh whatever, is it football season yet??

That being said! I also wanted to say that I agree with most of the points you made here regarding Canada's characterization. And because I wouldn't be able to write out a comment worded as well as this one, I'm just seconding yours. I have fun threading with Canada, Fae, these are just some helpful hints!

(I've got nothing for George - she's awesome as far as I can tell and I haven't seen the show)

I really, really don't get how George could be even remotely okay with Lucci starting to kill people again. Even if she _didn't_ need to be there when it happened, it just seems very much OOC for her not to have big, big problems with it. And even if he really only kills horrible people - though I find it very implausible there'd be convenient murderers and rapists on every inhabited island, especially ones that are *obviously* that, with no chance of ever becoming better people - even if that's really what's going on, I still feel she'd be disturbed by his enjoyment in killing ( ... )

I see where you're coming from, and I think you're right. My problem now is that I don't know how to fix that, because it would be weird for her to suddenly pull a 180 and freak out about it when she's been...not okay with it but not actively protesting it all that much either. In a thread we had today, though, Lucci agreed to stop killing people again, so that if he does it again, I'll be able to have George give a more IC reaction. If any of that made sense. It's nearly 7am and I've been awake far too long. >.>

Oh, I see. Okay, that sounds good to me! ^_^

(Maybe she might not have been able to put her unease well into words before, while Lucci's good at words... and if it happens again, she could have had time to think things over and be more sure of her views? I dunno, just a thought.)
