Abit is going out of business :(
I guess it is a natural progression of things. When I used to care about the hardware I am running on I had one of their boards.

That sucks! I love Abit boards, and have them in all of my current machines. Both AM2 and 775 sockets, and both flawless.

apparently it is just kind of dead, the parent may restructure the company or sell it off to mainland. other than that they are pretty serious about shutting it down preparing the warranties for existing boards and etc.

That's shitty. the uGuru util alone is worth keeping the friggin boards for.
Maybe this means the boards will flood the market and I can buy a few backups cheap. My 775 board was only $45 NEW anyway, and it's rocksolid.
