I started reading The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks in the afternoon. My cousin says it's an easy read and wouldn't be so long. Uh... it was long alright. Boring in some parts and very detailed. But the good parts weren't until the end where there were 'report' cases of zombie attacks and I happen to be reading them at night. I nearly got a ( Read more... )

Zombies are my one extremely irrational fear. I get REALLY bad zombie-nightmares because of them and just.. .can't deal ;_;

But right now, I think I'm going to have nightmares of unattractive men in women's dresses because of that video XD!!!!

I couldn't sleep last night but I finally slept like around 3am. My worst fears are vampires actually now I got zombies to worry about!

XD That video is hilarious! But I got a bit traumatized 'cause the guitarist in that video was really hot! But seeing him in a dress... Nooooo~ ruin my image! LoL!

ah yeah. I forgot to tell you that it gets boring in the middle but then gets really scary in the end. The whole week after I read it, I had to sleep with the TV on. It kinda makes you never want to go to forest or the beach, eh?

It makes me never want to set foot outside ever again!!! Like especially when it mentioned the parts about the people lost in Roanoke and Greenland! 'Cause I learned about those! And the book just seriously puts you in this mindset that zombies have ruled the world. It's scary!!!

The underwater battle chapter scared the crap out of me! If I'd read it while I was still in crew, I would be so paranoid every time we're on the water. And it killed any want in me to go to Alaska or the colder parts of Canada.

Do you have a survival plan now, though?

After I finish the book I'm reading now, I'm reading that author's follow-up book, World War Z. The whole book is basically a couple of survivors from the zombie apocalypse retelling what happened. I heard it's even scarier than the survival guide.

My plan will probably be like that Neville dude from that 'vampire' movie where he tries to make a cure. So I guess I have no choice but to just continue making some kind of cure or immunity to this zombie virus!

Eh? Tell me how it's like 'cause I don't know if I want to read it. XD Too scary~
