Anyone have any recomendations for nice areas to live in Toronto.

I've been looking but I really want to know from locals. The only criteria right now is close enough to be able to commute easily to Kensington Market (that's where the bf has his company.)

Anyway we are planning on moving for January soooo I wanted to get a head start..

Little Italy is a nice area and just up College from Kensington. Lots of sushi places and shops n stuff too. I like it!

I don't live there, of course you know, but I'm there a lot. :)

In that area I would say Palmerston [bad spelling] or the Annex for sure.

If you are not afraid of the east end there are some lovely lofts around my area.

Call my mom she will be able to put a profile together for you and tell you where everything is ASAP.

I know I am a broken record. But it is cool to talk even if you are not buying right away, which is better because there might not be what you want available. She often has clients for a year as they figure out what they want.
