Moving to SF

Jun 15, 2006 15:37

My lease is up at my apartment here in Redwood City, and I'm seriously considering moving to San Francisco. I think it'd be fun to live in the Haight-Ashbury area. Does anyone have advice about living in the city? What neighborhoods are cool? How the hell am I gonna park my car?

well it depends on what type of area you want to live in. if you live anywhere near haight or the panhandle, there will not be parking. however, if you live in ocean view or the sunset there will be. my new place is in ocean view, right next to the 280, so it's a location conducive to commuting unlike most of the central areas of the city. potrero hill and the outer mission are also very near freeways and have more of a "hip" cred. also the places are cooler and the weather is the best in the city. i know a lot about the various districts of the city, so feel free to ask me any questions you have about areas.

and you better move here, i need to see you here in the sucka free city.

That is a great idea! Would you work at the same place? The city would be fun and interesting. :D

I'd work at the same place for the time being. Finding a job in the city would be cool, though.
