i was on TV today b/c channel 4 news people were on campus interviewing ppl about their reactions to the Virginia Tech massacre. the reporter basically asked if i felt safe, if i was scared something like that would happen at my campus, etc. julie was interviewed too, w/ similar questions. my campus is so close to VATech's that they assume we are

we're not really close...my mom says we're in the 'tristate area' of VA Tech, so even though they are at least 2-3 hours away its close enough that lots of ppl here either know ppl who go there or live near there or w/e...

when my mom came home from somewhere ( i dont remember lol) that day she ran up to me and was like "erin goes to maryland not virginia right??!!!"
and i was like "yes she goes to maryland mom...and if anyone ever did anythin to her i would personally call up jack bauer to kick their ass!!"
