The Sin's Kitchen, Thursday Morning

Six hookers stood around a table. On the table was an envelope. The envelope was addressed to Jarod.

"Open it!" Wendy said.

"I'm not opening it, you open it!" her sister said.

"It's probably just some sappy teenage love note, anyway," Carmen said. "'Let's get back together and snuggle,' that kind of thing. "Besides, Jarod's smart. He knows things. He'll know if we open it."

"Do we care?" Daisy asked her.

"No, but his ex might, and she's a little crazy."

"We could steam it open."

"He still might know," Dallas pointed out.

"We could take it to Miho. She probably has some sneaky ninja way of opening it."

The one who looked like Julia Roberts held the letter up to the light and tried to read it through the envelope. She failed. "And then she'd sneeze on it and he'd really know."

"So are we not opening it?" Goldie asked. "Because if we're not opening it, I'm going to teach the orchid the dirty version of "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" and go to bed."

"Yeah, stick the letter back in his stocking while you're in there." Dallas sighed and took off her mask as she headed for the stairs. She was off-duty now, so she could do that. "We're so lame."
