When she stepped back from him in the episode I cussed out the TV because he was trying and her behavior was uncalled for. I know it was her child and she was angry and feeling helpless...but that gives you no right to be a bitch to the one actually trying to help. /end rant

so as much as I love Amy I am a bit peeved with her at the moment. Cannot get over how much I love River Song though.lol. and the Doctor. Teehee. I just hope that I can forgive Amy her actions...which I probably will and then cry oceans when she leaves.

and these 2 pieces were fantastically written as usual. It just seemed right to me. &hearts

I really love these two fics, especially the first.

Yes, it was hard to see her reaction to him, though she's done it before. Remember in Amy's Choice, right when Rory dies, she asks the Doctor to bring Rory back, and when he can't, she says "then what's the point of you?" I always thought that was cruel.

But I think it's a good reminder that not everything with the Doctor is fun and magic. People get hurt, and lives are lost. River's lecture about that was extremely necessary for him to realize his actions have consequences, and sometimes dire ones.

I felt so sorry for the doctor when she flinched away, Amy has always been my favourite companion but when she did that I've never wanted so slap some sense into some more.
