My previous assistant was one, and his service was satisfactory. I require someone reliable, and an adult is far more likely to leave should he find more regular employment.

As it seems this City provides for those who are still young, it is not inconceivable that they would prefer to run errands on occasion as a means of passing the time rather than searching for unnecessary full time work.
