The number of dimensional disturbances on Earth is on the rise...the incidents in Tokyo and at the Saotome Labs both clearly involved dimensional transit of some sort, though I'd be lying if I said I'd ever seen anything like the former, or anything on the scale of the latter.  Combined with those demons from last month (was it that long ago?  I ( Read more... )

I've been noticing the same thing. And let's not forget what Lord Genome tried to pull. Just what the hell could all these people from different dimensions want with ours, anyway?

There certainly seems to be something of interest, when you account for them and all the aliens invading physically.

And then there was...

...Hold the phone. Do you think all these groups could be after humanity?

...that's an interesting theory. Humans, the species, exist elsewhere in the Universe, but humans born from Earth stock do seem to be particularly...something. Hayate and Nanoha are Earth natives, for example, and they're two of the most powerful mages in the entire Bureau despite not having had an upbringing in a magical society or, in Hayate's case, more than a year or so of training.

If nothing else, Earth's people have proven remarkably resilient to fighting a multiple-front, extended war. If our enemies weren't interested in humanity before attacking, they probably are now.

Yer right, Lost Logia does have t' habit o' showin' up in strange places, but it does seem really odd that we haven' heard anythin' recently. T' TSAB seems t' be fairly quiet recently, too..

Maybe they're giving us a break desu? Fate-chan and Nanoha-chan seem to be taking advantage of that! I wonder when they'll be back desu.

I just hope they're both actually taking a break. Testarossa's too dedicated to investigating for her own good, and we all know how Nanoha is.

Of course, I don't like it being this quiet either. All of the GDF's enemies seem to be on the move, but ours are apparently biding their time.

I've got to admit, I'm not sure who you guys are. I know that there's a bunch of "mages" with the GDF that are on loan from some other organization, but that's about it.

Everyone calling ourselves mages, except for that one Prinny I suppose, are agents of the Time-Space Administration Bureau, an organization based on the planet Midchilda and using a kind of technology whose power source best translates to Earth languages as "mahou" or "magic".

The TSAB is responsible for investigating and fighting crime that crosses dimensional boundaries, or involves magical artifacts. There's a permanent adjutant position with the GDF, despite Earth not being a formally administered world, because that kind of thing actually happens on Earth a lot.

Hmm... maybe its less that dimensional stuff is happening more and more that we now have the technology to notice and also combat such intrusions?

I mean, yeah this is a particularly bad war. But there have been wars in the past which were similar in scope and there has almost never been a time when no one on this planet was fighting.

So it seems like a lot to us, but I wonder if its not par for the course?

It's not so much that there's war right now as that there's lots of people hopping over dimensional boundaries like they were low hedges.

There's nothing really of note on record for dimensional incidents on Earth prior to two years ago...then again, you're right, no one was really keeping track.
