The long holiday weekend is finally here and I'm very grateful for it. I've been looking over my finances and budgeting things out for the month and I don't think I'll be able to afford too much of an excursion this weekend as I had hoped, but I'm putting aside some money for January to do that. I'm getting so cranky I almost forgot! One good thing that happened today was a call back from one of the applications I put out. They set up a phone interview with me for after the holiday. That's a step in the right direction.

Well, it was definitely a Monday. I over slept and didn't make breakfast, made it into work just on time and walked in having to a myriad of little "fires" that needed to put out and never got around to lunch. It's funny how perception of time and it's speed moves so quickly or slowly depending on the situation. Right now I'm watching the minutes tick away far more quickly than I'd like, as it brings me closer to the dreaded work week.
