I rather thought it was something more serious than you were claiming.
It's going to be okay. This is just a hiccup in your life. Whether it's permanent or whether it passes, you will find a way to adapt.
You've got a lot of people to help you through the emotional stuff. I know you can deal with the rest. You're better than whatever is happening to you.
damn... it can be terrifying if something isn't working properly like that, and you don't know what it is. A few years ago, my appendix ruptured, and I felt like I was going to die - it was the scariest day of my life, even though it ended up not being a big problem.
Don't be scared to tell your friends things like this, as they're your friends and they definitely care more about you than whether they get grossed out or not. (it happens to all of us at some point! that's not gross.)
I really hope it turns out alright for you, update when you know what's up.
Oh Brendan, I still feel so bad that you feel so bad. I just want to hug you until you feel all better, because my hugs (in my imagination) have all-healing powers. You'll be okay! And pshh, I think it's funny you think you're being gross. There is nothing gross about it. ...Y'know, unless you're like me and think that anything to do with the human body is disgusting, but I'm not disgusted because it's not me. I mostly only have that problem with my own body.
Tell your sickness to poof! We need to hang out soon. It's very necessary.
Update. feeling slightly better today. urges are resistable (they're still there, but not as urgent.) The antibiotics are working, but they are having some side effects (Dizziness, Numb arms, etc) and the sickness is causing sleepiness and soreness (lower back, but everywhere to some extent). I'm definately getting better though. hopefully by tomorrow or monday.
