This is my birth-day; as this very day was William born. And died.

Party in the Stratford 'hood, sunset. BYOB. Ladies get the pleasure of bestowing a birthday kiss upon my fair cheek.

Are you SURE you were born on this day? They didn't really keep track of those things back then.

However, I will gladly give you a birthday cheek-kiss any day of the week. ^_^

Even in those times of darkness and poor records-keeping, one knows one's own birthday, lady.

I do relish your so sweetly-bestowed kiss, madam.

What kind of a party is BYOB? (though if you can't afford it, I do sympathise.)

Happy birthday anyway, Bill - my sisters loved quoting you in English just to show off. Merchant of Venice, that's damned imperialistic, though. I don't give a damn about the Jews - it's the way the nobles walk all over the working class. Hamlet and Macbeth, showing the corruption and depravity of the nobility, those are great literature.

We poets are not rich at the best of times, sir, though I will be providing two kegs -- one for guests and one for my own revellous self. Other than that, thou must provide for thyself.
