I've seen Dr. John a few times and this was the first where he seemed like a fully sober fellow in command of a good band, playing a really good show.
Noche Flamenca was just transcendantly otherworldly great. Four dancers, two singers, two guitarists. They're all great, and the lead dancer is one of those born-artist types who is just from another planet of crazy-great. Cannot rave enough. The videos on nocheflamenca.com do NOT do them justice.

Probably doesn't matter ... he always comes back.
PS: You can and should continue to write and play music. And I really like your voice on the CD. It has a very lovely frailty and timbre.

Thanks for the kind words. I will certainly keep playing. I like it too much to quit.

Noche Flamenca, eh? We do well with dance here, so it sounds like I should look into it.
