Yes! They are! XD I can't contain the fan-girl-ing over them so I just have to make a post like this. ^___^
I discovered them about a month ago and I can't stop listening to them ever since! I'm really surprised that I haven't listened to their music till just recently. Something is definitely wrong with me.
can't blame you for watching the LBC show. they're from huntington beach (like me!) and since long beach is literally 20 minutes away it was like playing to their home crowd. you know how artists always bring it harder at home. and i still can't comprehend that he's gone. its so sad. they had a really nice article posted in the local hb paper about his family and such....fantastic band though
Yeah, the energy of that show was insane.XD You live there? Have you seen them live? :) Oh yeah, The Rev is too young to go. If I'd known them for years, I'd probably crying my eyes out... I've only been a fan for a month and I can already feel a great chunk missing because of his passing. It will never be the same without him. :(
So my message can't get through for some reason so I decide to just post it here:
Thank you so so much for sharing those links. I've been reading their past interviews and articles written about the band, and The Rev has formed this image of him in my mind: a brilliant drummer who is out of his mind, likes to have fun and is a friend to all... but after reading the articles, I think I saw the more human side of him... More than just a skillful drummer, he was a friend, a brother, and a son... I've never cried for people I haven't actually met but honestly, reading the articles made my eyes tear. T___T I still feel like crying... His passing is more felt to me now. Is it okay if I add your links to the post? I just want to share it to possible readers. :)
Oh, and sorry if the post suddenly disappeared. I set the post to friends only since it is nonfic-related... From now on I'll keep it public. ^__^
yeah i started crying when i was reading it too. it was just beautifully written and held the utmost respect for both him and his family. feel free to share the links all you want. it was something written in a very small huntington beach newspaper that only prints once a week. and since no one outside of the hb community really had an opportunity to see it i thought the links would be nice to share....
