[Background] The fool is a representation of the present, a free spirit, a new journey with all neglect of the past to bias or guide him one direction over the other. As an introduction to this change, Souji is first shown being given his final farewells to a classroom of students in the big city. All seem concerned with his departure but can only wish him the best as he travels alone to this journey. A perfect set up for our fair-haired protagonist as he arrives in the small city of Yasoinaba where he is to stay with his uncle and cousin for the next year. Before this arrival however, he is greeted by a man named Igor in a place called the 'Velvet Room', which really appears to be more of a dimly lit limo which travels through a vast and everlasting fog. It is here that his adventure is foreshadowed and revealed. Back to Yasoinaba: It's not often the city gets much excitement so immediately, Souji is received by his new class mates, distanced family members and other social characters with a kind of intrigue. No more then a couple days later though, the plot unfolds. A most bizarre murder. An announcer recently caught in an affair was found dead, hanging unnaturally from a telephone pole.

His uncle being part of a detective department in the city, is on the case, which also lends Souji to learning detailed insider information on the developments of such case while... Figuring out he has special powers that allow him to journey into a world on the other side of TVs where he discovers his ability to call forth the power of PERSONA. These persona will be delved into in the ABILITIES portion of the app.

At the reveal of his power to two other classmates, they dive into this tv world to discover it's connection to an Urban Myth that exists on their side of the tv as well as it's apparent connection to the murders occurring. With this as their bases, they begin paying close attention to 'The Midnight Channel' and whomever happens to appear on the screen. After having his two classmates discover their own power, they rescue the first victim with the help of a bear who lives on the other side of the television. The process repeats for several months as they grow their own team of detectives to uncover the murders of Ms. Mayumi Yamano, and Saki Konishi. This is all on top of balancing his school work, friendships and daily life on the side however and for a great length of time, this progression of saving those tossed into the television, gathering what the captured could remember about the kidnapping and such was all going quite smoothly until a mock murder took place.

At the time, they thought the case somehow related with the prior kidnappings regardless of the fact that it fit none of the criteria. The death was explainable in the real world unlike the first two. Sticking all their head's together and recovering the one responsible for the third murder resulted in a step back in their investigation which really brought them closer to discovering the real killer in reality.

DUNDUNDUN, short version of it all? He and his crew of wannabe-detectives discover the TRUE KILLER, create bonds that will last FOREVER and then he returns to his life before Yasoinaba.

Want a more in-depth look? THIS shall most certainly do the trick.
[Personality] Being the silent lead protagonist, Souji's personality is based off of the player's ability choice to choose how he interacts with others but also largely off the fact that Souji has the ability to change his 'persona'. This automatically makes him into an adaptable young man, who will alter the way he acts to some degree in other to benefit those around him (even if it doesn't seem like it at first). Pending on whom he's dealing with, the protagonist can be calm and concerned one moment then aggressive and in-your-face the next. This change makes him a bit of a wildcard, it's impossible to see what he'll do next, how he'll react or respond to situations though largely, this is to the benefit of others.

In most circumstances, he will stand up to his friends and make them confront their fears, sympathize with their problems, and stand beside them when it seems no one else will. Through this, even if his friends happen to grow distasteful of such efforts at that moment, come to respect his method of teaching them to better themselves and from there form an everlasting bound that will never be broken. Even if they never meet again, he seems to leave an imprint on people that will forever remain as a reminder.

This isn't to say he hasn't been left with an imprint of those he's met either. From each experience, Souji seems to be able to take back what he's learned and improve himself just as much, furthering use of the knowledge he has gained. He tends to use this knowledge to his benefit when interacting with new faces in the future, figuring out what would be the most effective manner to connect with the person before him as apposed to pushing them away. Hard-ass or softie and everything in between, Souji really has a strong ability to study people without really saying anything at all. A listener. Strong, silent and mysterious all in his own way.
[Specialties/Abilities] elvet Room: The Velvet Room is a space which only those with the suited requirements may enter. A contract as it were. When Souji first enters this space, he has yet to make a contract, however, Igor (the inhabitant of this realm) suggests that he is soon to make one, therefore, meeting the requirements. In this space, Souji is able to fuse his Personae, keep a running checklist of those he's obtained and those he presently has on had to do battle with.

Personae: A manifestation of one's personality or self. Souji's starter personae was Izanagi, whom later returns in a finalized form to assist once more. A full list of the Personae in which Souji can master are listed. There is only a handful of those listed which he cannot obtain as they are enlisted to his teammates. Due to his access to the Velvet Room, he can change, fuse or purchase other personae to hold in the 12 allotted spots, exchanging between them to make for effective use in combat.
These personae may also have an effect on how he acts and reacts to certain situations as each represent a portion of his personality as a whole.
Also, with each Personae, they tend to have a strenght/null and a weakness based off a series of elements. Sometimes there is more then one of each while at other times there may be none. Items, accessories and other equipment can alter these effects to some extent.

Sword: In combat, he can wield dual handed swords or weapons. Initially, he makes use of a golf club to combat the creatures, otherwise known as shadows, on the other side of the tv.

[Affection] All affection is welcomed though he is likely to respond differently to each. +w+
[Fighting] Because of his personae, Souji is more then capable of defending himself if attacked. Though he's likely not to make the first move unless you're a shadow or Adachi. :| He's generally pretty chill even when people attempt to provoke him.

[Other Permissions] Can telepathic characters read your character's mind? Y, but I really doubt they'll get much out of it.
How intrusive can another character be toward yours? There really isn't much that bothers him but if they do happen to hit one of those sore subjects then they are more then free to pry him apart if just to build his character a little bit more.

[Other Facts] THIS WILL GET SOME LOVE LATER ON? Maybe.
