I can honestly say this past year of college has to have been the worst one yet, it was frustrating, depressing and down right disappointing. The construction is actually unrelated to the bullshit. Mostly. It's the same reason PV was tearing shit up and building crap. There was a grant given out a few years ago where the state coughed up this idiotically huge amount to ALL schools statewide. That money went to everything from gradeschools to ASU and while most schools jumped right in to do the most drastic reconstruction right away, some used it to acquire nearby land and structures to renovate (IE: PVCC's library deal). ASU as I understand it is bleeding their money rather slowly and milking the construction funds fairly well.
