What a long ass fucking day. So today was Saitama orientation and my first time using the JR trains. They're actually pretty easy to manage once you figure out how the lines work and how to switch trains which Jason thankfully helped me out with. black teeth...signs of beetle nut...at least that was the cause in Viet Nam. It's a natural plant, a narcotic. Does your teeth in over the years. Never tried it, but know what the after affects are. May 1969, first mine sweep patrol through Song Ve village. 0630 and there's a nude 95 year old Vietnamese Momma-San sitting on the road. "Recruit" (generic term for newest ass-whole in the unit) "remove that obstacle from the road." So I go use simple English on the old lady..."Mamma-San, you move village...no here on road...#10 boom-boom you no go village, you bich?" Good choice of words except "boom-boom," which I meant to mean a land mine blow your ass off. Which Vietnamese always take to mean "you want have sex with me." Whole fucking village is laughing at me, including about 40 G.I.'s mine-sweeping the road. Beetle nut...chew it when your 95 and all things seem possible.
