Dove is also a part of the same corporation that markets axe (ass?) body spray, and we all know how THEY feel about the womens, true beauty or otherwise.
I wonder how much of that no good, awful, terrible, self-esteem ruining campaign fodder came from the years of previous Dove beauty campaigns.
Also, that plastic surgery thing would have been infinitely more powerful had they given you just a split-second glance of somebody's eyeball being sliced open with a scalpel at the very end.
I also wonder how they decided to choose the red-headed girl as "beautiful...but only in the self-esteem kind of way."
