It was great to spend quality time with you!itsumeMarch 18 2009, 02:54:47 UTC
It was a fab weekend! I had so much fun, except that fall down the hotel stairs. I swear that bruise is so deep it will be around until Pennsic! And, yes I know how you got your wounds! Hee Hee!
As for Huggy, I loved his nickname for me. "Shelf"! LOL Hey, at least my shelf bought me a drink!
So, do you know where J.J.'s glasses are? How about his hamster?
If you are still in NOLA: If you get a chance, go over the bridge to Abita Springs and go to their brewpub. If you ask nice, and they like you, you can try some of the "green" Turbo Dog (i.e. right from the fermenter). They also used to make an excellent crawfish po-boy.
Also on that side of the lake, Bears in Covington and/or the IGA in Covington make damn good po--boys as well.
The Court Tavern on Bourbon makes decent, cheap po-boys, gumbo, and jambalaya, great for a mid-day snack. If you can afford it, The Court of the Two Sisters (espcecially for Sunday brunch) is amazing.
And the little hole-in-a-wall closet-sized place on Bourbon at the intersection of Conti make my favorite Hurricanes. (All the sell is beer and 'canes)
