I saw Jarhead last night and was quite impressed. Lots of one-liners which were highly quotable, not many battle scenes&of course the lovely Jake Gyllenhaal. What I think is quite good about Jake, is to me he's still Donnie Darko, so he can still play those slightly off balance characters with the greatest of ease

Disintegration is one of my top 10 albums of all time. One of the most atmospheric albums you'll ever hear.

It's so dreadfully depressing but similarly, it's that connection with an emotion that makes you so sure you exist, that confirms your existance as it were. It's like a dream really, that album. It has no considered aspect to it, just takes you where it takes you.

taxidermy for me is my dream album, but then Katie describes how she wrote it as 'sitting in a tree', it's this really odd spaced-out album. Disintegration, well my brother loves Fascination Street and for me, as Lullaby was the first song that made me go, okay, maybe i like the Cure.
