At the environmental consulting place I work for, we have a geomorphology team. I make many, many, many, many maps for them. I'm not sure they qualify for space grants, although I do get paid a lot of money to make them.

I'm glad you're enjoying school! I took a oceanography class in my last quarter, and wrote my paper about the use of GIS to help map the ocean floor. So I guess we're both nerds.
