So this is kinda old news but I seen a pic of your hair when you used ion medium intense red blonde (7IR) and I was wondering what you did to your hair? I know that you were redying it but what products did you use the first time? and did you bleach it? what was your process? Also, I am stuck between getting the medium intense red and the intense red (7RR). I want a deep red but i want it bright like hayley williams. Before I put the color in I am going to bleach it. Any help will do :) thanks
yeah, i had my hair pre-lightened at a salon first, but you can do it yourself too as long as you use a 40 vol developer and a toner, and then wait a few days before applying the red over it. like you said, i used ion medium intense red blonde.
i would do a protein treatment before bleach/color and a hot oil treatment after coloring to make sure your hair doesnt get too dried out or break. at least, that's what i did.
you will probably have to recolor it once a month. a lot of people just put the leftover dye into their regular shampoo and mix it up, but i havent done that personally.
hope that helps, feel free to ask me anything else :)

alright cool. yeah i really hope that i get the results that i want this time. i had made the mistake of using a 40 developer when i was applying (7RR) intense red the first time since i bleached my hair before that and it came out way too light. so now its my second attempt to achieve that paramore red.
i have another question for you.. is your hair more of a burgundy?? do you happen to have any other pics of the results??
