I think you're a little off, babe. Living together is def a form of commitment. It is fine if you don't want to or won't or need to be married first, but please don't think it isn't committing to live with someone.

living together just eases you into married life, i'd believe. because when you don't live together, you always have the knowledge that you can go home and live your own life for a bit. living together, you're together more often. living together before marriage shouldn't mean lack of commitment, if he wasn't committed to you he wouldn't be offering more of his time to you. together, not separate.
