Thanks Ashley!! It's hard getting use to him not being here. As you know my dogs weren't ever treated like dogs, they are like humans. Time will only heal.

Oh Hun, I am so sorry. I know how much you loved Dauber. I know you feel you failed, but you didnt. Ending Dauber's pain was the the most caring and loving thing you could have done. I have to admire you for that, most people would do what ever it takes to keep thier animal alive, but then they are just thinking of themselves.

When it's my kitties turn to cross over the rainbow bridge, I hope and pray that I will have the same strength that you have shown to me.

With all the 53 messages I got from people in LJ I now feel that I didnt fail him. But, it was the HARDEST adn the BEST decision I had to make and now I feel it was the right one.

I forgot this little bit. I know it sounds crazy but, as I was holding him and talking to him letting him know how much he meant to and how muh I loved him and how much he will be missed, I felt warmth just come over me from him to me kinda like a light warm breeze. It was amazing!! I know he is with me I hear him walking sown the halls and feel his presence. CRAZY?

It's not crazy at all. I see ghosts of people's pets all the time. It's just second nature to me now. Usually around my cat's birthday, I see the ghost of their brother Brock.

You had closure, Dauber knew, he knew that you were letting go and that he could be at peace. I am glad he is still there with you.

You are so strong in spirit and soul.
