One Year Ago Today.......
I lost my best friend Dauber to Addison's Crisis. After talking to people who know about it and are Dane owners. One lady told me she lost a Dane to Addisons and yes, it is hereditary but there is no test for it. And, there is no way to determine which parent carries it. I was wrong
I'm able to sit at the computer for a little while. My surgery went well, The pain is okay not as bad today as it was yesterday. I started physical therapy this morning; whih was great. The kids and my dear husband are great. even though I'm not use to being waited on. Sorry so short my knee is starting to hurt. Will post more later.

I'm not going to be here for a while as I'm having surgery tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital at 5:45 am. I will update more when I'm up and around!!

Quick update
Well, I went Sunday and picked up my Dane puppy!! Took him to the vet Monday morning he's 6 weeks old weighs 9lbs. and my vet checked his eyes, ears, heart, lungs, fecal exam, shots, checked his back, legs and watched him walk he is a healthy puppy!!! TRINITY TURNED 4 TODAY!!!
Today is Trinity's brithday I made her mashed potatos w/ some Texas taffy (jerky for dogs) And she got sugar free ice cream for desert ( Read more... ) -
Trinity's Play date
Trinity a had palydate today our neighbors 170lb. female Great Dane Ted yes, I said Ted which is short for Theoadora. She is absolutely a doll. Trinity was in heaven to have someone to play with. Even though they really didn't play just kinda smelled each others butts and ran around the yard a bit. I think Trinity is lonely since Dauber is gone. ( Read more... )
