Reading the cynicism of Celine and I'm smiling as the pages go by. But of course, Camus was once quoted saying that Celine purposely wrote cynicism in hopes of selling hundreds and thousands of copies. Does that mean I'm reading "pop" Literature of the olden days? You'll be fine. Before you know it, you will be picking things up. But be warned-- maybe the kids will be making fun of you at first but when they get know you, they will love ya. The Marylander kids usually make fun of the teachers who sign in ways like you described. Don't fret. ;)

What grade will you be teaching? I can tell you about the kids you'll be dealing with. It'd help you a lot. ;)

I will be teaching two high school classes and two elementary.

I'm not too worried about the elementary kids. I remember when I was in high school, so I kind of know what I'm in for.
