For The Love Of The Game (Of Love)...

Sep 23, 2005 04:03

When it comes to love, I'm the best goddamn sports analyst you ever saw. I can watch the players stride out on the field and predict their moves with uncanny accuracy. I know the stats. I'm up-to-date on the injury lists. I'm the greatest handicapper in the world. One look at a player and I can tell you what scarred him as a kid, what motivates and ( Read more... )

You may already be a winner! wtfunkymonkey September 23 2005, 09:42:31 UTC
Okay, I just want to say that this was a very good read. Truly. It's worthy of being GQd or something, I don't know what exactly, but it needs recognition.

Okay, you brought up totally and completely awesome and correct points. I can't think of anything you said that I disagree with.
so i guess i could have summed that up with IAWTP, but w/e.

Funny, about you always being right. My friends would probably say the same thing. I can remember once a friend said that I wasn't always right, so I asked her if I'd ever been wrong.
'Not that I can remember.'
OWNED, BITCH!

That whole thing about taking away the glamour and the lies, and the beauty and the poise. Alicia has no problem cutting a huge fart and laughing about it. No problem calling me an asshole when I deserve it or admitting she's being a bitch when she is.
How awesome is that?

So, seriously. It seems pretty obvious that you're ready to take yourself off the injured list, now go out there and play some fucking GAME!

I appreciate that. I got all the recognition I need right here. (*pats you on the ass*)

That friend of yours.... same one who saw your elephantisis-cursed testicles? 'Cause I'm thinking you might want to just write off any hope of her sending you further Christmas cards at this point. :)

Kudos to Alicia. It's true love when you can cut a wet one in from of the person you love and laugh about it. I've got a particularly bad one I'm dying to let rip for just the right person right now...

As for the game... umm... would doing a psychotic fan count? :D

No, that wasn't the one that saw my giant nut, this was the one I dry humped on her fathers couch. (long story).

Better hold that fart in man, when you tell a girl you love her like that it bettere be one that won't fail to impress.

psychotic fans count as practice runs, but you better make a play sometime soon, othwerwise you'll be back on the bleachers instead of the bench.

also; where the hell have you been, mister?

I find it hard to believe that anyone would have a hard time telling *you* they love you. You're impossible not to love. Hell, your breasts alone deserve their own Valentine's Day cards. :D

I LOVE YOU!!!

that was brilliant! it seems that you're one of those people that enjoy watching/analyzing people, but not in the sense of finding what's wrong with them, but more in the sense of understanding how people tick. i swear, your insightfulness is mind-blowing.

Thanks! The one thing I'd like to point out is that when I blow your mind, I promise to help with the clean up afterward. That way we can finish up the mind-blowing early and head out together for a pint. ;)

Also; yay!

It's an Irish thing *and* a Chad thing. :)

There's nothing wrong with telling someone, even a friend, that you love them. When they say ti back, it's the most amazing feeling in the world. Even if it doesn't last, the moment is everything.

That's something I'm glad you didn't lose faith in. And yet another reason I'll always love you.

That's exactly why I say it - because I want them to know I mean it and feel that feeling from me.

I'll always love you too... 'til the stars go out one night.
