They're Always After Me Lucky Charms!

Kansas City for New Year's Eve - I highly recommend it. I'll most more about my week there later (aka "Chad & Janet's KC/NYE Vacation", also known as "PARTY LIKE A MOTHERFUCKIN' ROCK STAR!"), but for now, he's a shot of my latest tattoo gotten on the last day of one of the worst years of my life.

Your tattoo is phat! :) I always wanted to have a tattoo...my body is so pure without a navel piercing. LOL It takes me years to think about the design which I wanted. Now, I do want the specific design (I have to draw it myself and go to tattoo parlor with health license..I am so anal about cleaniness).

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it. I'll do some additional work to it later (flames around it), but for the most part, I'm really happy with it.

If you want a tat, get one! Don't let anyone talk you out of it. Get what would make you happy, and choose a design with a personal meaning to you. As for a tat shop with a health licence, pretty much all of 'em do these days. I've never been in one that didn't. It's a legal requirement to keep the shop open. So don't worry about that. The key is to find yourself a specific artist whose work you like or whom comes recommended by someone you trust.

Good luck, and I hope you get the tattoo you've been dreaming of!

yea, it's stupid, and not reccomended... but its something you have to do. God damn having two fresh ones on your pecs slapped hurts like a bitch until you take the shot of whiskey.
good times, good times.

Also; who is this Janet person?

I only got the old celtic cross on my left bicep "set". That didn't bother me at all, but I was high and drunk as a motherfucker anyway, so that whole "feeling no pain" thing was in full effect at the time.

Janet is a friend of mine who came with me to KC. Remember Lisa (whom should be forever referred to from now on as "That heartless bitch")? They're best friends. It's a long story I don't want to get into right now, but if you go deeper into my LJ, you'll see a lot about Janet in there.

I remember The Heartless Bitch thing... but I still know nothing of this Janet person. I think I must have to read through the past here...

She's mentioned repeatedly and consistantly throughout my LJ. She used to be one of the three "Bitches of Wichita". I've since revised that. However, I've recently learned that I need to be very careful with how I deal with her, because despite her promises, I fear that she'll revert back to treating me in a way she swore she never would again like *that*.

You ever notice that women are always bitching about how all guys just want "one thing" and can never be honest, but then when they find a guy who just treats them with respect and always tells them the truth as a friend, they can't wait to treat them like shit and blame them for every stupid choice they make and hate them for being honest with 'em?

Eh, maybe it's just me.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been getting a lot of compliments about that green color and the shading done with it. it really stands out nicely. I really like the guy who did our tats. He's a stand-up dude, talented artist, and was very respectful to me and Janet and communicated well with us. To anyone planning to get inked in the KC area, I'd highly recommend him.

Nope. I do designs, not the actual tattooing myself... yet. It's something I'd like to get into, but at the moment I'm only doing the art instead of the mechanics of actual tattooing. Once I get to KC, I'll looking into getting an apprenticeship.

I'll do you as soon as you come to KC... in that way or any other way. ;)

You have no *idea* how much I wish you were the one who partied it up with me. Get your ass over here for a little vacation so we can do that!

I love the tatt honey...let me see....you're irish.... :P

And love flaming star, if I was game, I'd probably ask you to design something, but since that design would come to nothing in the next 5 years....I wont bother :P

Glad you had great NYE...I sorta did....at home.....with alcohol....yer...

WHAT GAVE IT AWAY?!?! :)

Well, if you're ever interested in a design, let me know. I enjoy doing them. I enjoy knowing that my designs will potentially end up on the bodies of hot young chicas like you too. I'm funny like that. ;)

Alcohol - can't live without it, can't inject it directly into the bloodstream.
