My foster dad passed away this morning

No flights. None. Well, there is this one into Corpus through Houston, but if you try to just get into Houston it doesnt show up, which my friend the travel agent says means it is oversold.

I cannot take that chance. I just cant. So I guess I do not get to go to his funeral, which is Saturday.

I really have nothing else to say.

Thanks...he was 76 with ALS, so it was for the best for him, but it sucks for those of us left behind.

I was going to go down there in February...and I think I still will, but I was expecting to see him, too, and this is just hard.

Oh, no. I'm sorry. I know you'll be there in spirit, but it's not the same. I wish there was a magic something we could all say or do to help make it better; since there's not, the cats and M had better be taking good care of you.
