“Yucchi..!”
“Please, don’t leave me…”
“Oi, Yucchi..!”
Yuichi who is so immersed in his thought jumps a bit in surprise as a loud clap from his back startled him totally. A frown created on his face once he saw how Koki and Junno are looking at him with a bewildered look. Well, to say it right, Koki is looking murderously as he knew, he never heard a single thing that Koki said before. Yuichi was sure, Koki was busy flattering about that cute guy.
“Did you even hear me talking, Big Nose..? I’m wasting my saliva for nothing right..?” Koki said mockingly towards Yuichi who is still frowning.
“I heard you, Koki, don’t worry.” Junno interrupts them with a big grin that never leaves his face. Koki and Yuichi both look at the honest Junno and both of them sigh in defeat at Junno’s behavior.
Koki rubs his temple a bit and he again, gaze his way towards Yuichi. He noticed that nowadays, Yuichi will always be in his own world which even him, his best friend could ever surpass. He heaves a sigh again and that totally caught Yuichi’s attention.
“What’s wrong with you.? Did Kamenashi-kun gives you any problem.? I thought your relationship are going just fine now.” Yuichi strikes Koki with his trail of questions with a frown on his face never left.
“It’s not about Kame-chan, baka. It’s about you. Just what’s wrong with you, Yuichi.? You’ve changed a lot….since you talked about that weird guy…” Koki’s question caught Yuichi off guard and even the KY Junno perked his ears up on that question.
“W…what guy..? I’m doing just fine, baka. Don’t act like my mom, could you.?” Yuichi hastily gulped his drink in one gulp and that gesture obviously got Koki to think that Yuichi is really a bad liar.
“You’re the worst liar I’ve ever seen, did you know that.? Come on, tell me. Who’s that guy..?” Koki nudged Yuichi playfully on his arm. A wide, mocking smirk was already formed on his handsome face. Even Junno was already by his side, getting ready to hear the story of the year from Yuichi with a expectant face.
So, Yuichi, the one who can’t sustains any longer his friends’ plead, tells them the story about his new found friend, Ueda Tatsuya. The weird guy who he accidentally bumped into while waiting for a bus. The guy who weirdly gave him the free newspaper. The guy who miraculously had broken his heart by clutching hands with that Nishikido. The guy who made him blushed by just a pure stare and a cheerful smile. The guy who he accompanied for this whole week whiles the said guy distributing out the newspapers. And the guy who gave him the unanswered question on why he cried the other day.
Koki and Junno listened intently on Yuichi’s story. Their mouths wide open once Yuichi finished his story which had taken about half an hour. Yuichi stares at his unmoving friends while he busy sipping his drink to freshen his throat. Finally, after 5 minutes without words from them, Yuichi got no other option except to give them a nice smack on each of their heads. Koki and Junno yelped in pain once they received the smack.
“Ouch, that’s hurt, baka.!” Koki said grudgingly. A frown formed on his face as he rubbed his sore head. While Junno who had recovered from his dreamy state, gazed at Yuichi knowingly and a big grin makes its way to his face.
“Yuichi..~ The guy that you talked about, is he the one that gave the newspaper to me.?” Junno asked and that surely gave Yuichi a sudden shock since he totally forgot that Junno had already met the other. Yuichi choked on his drink making his face reddened, not sure by the choking or by the Junno’s statement, while Junno and Koki shared the same smirk.
“W..Who..? What guy..?” Yuichi tried his best to act all innocent while Junno’s and Koki’s grins become wider.
“We told you right..? You’re the worst liar…” Koki and Junno said in unison and Yuichi thought to himself on how did he get this two as his best friends.

“TAT-CHAN..!!”
Tatsuya and Ryo who are now walking in peace into the college stopped dead on their track as they heard a familiar voice calling out for Tatsuya. Even the students there are getting used to that sudden voice owned by none other than the mighty Kamenashi Kazuya.
Since Tatsuya had known too well what will happen once he turned around, he quickly pulled the clueless Ryo to stand behind him. Once Ryo turns around, he got himself onto a big teddy hug from the petite Kame.
Tatsuya just giggles on his own once he saw the scene in front of him. He could clearly see how Ryo’s face turned into the bewildered expression as he realized someone is giving him a big hug. Nobody’s daring to mess with Ryo if they knew him well. While Tatsuya finally can’t sustains his chortle and burst out laughing as he saw Kame finally realized he’s hugging the wrong person. Kame’s frown become visible once he saw Ryo is in his arms. Then he quickly untangled himself from the now furious Ryo.
“Eeuuww..! Did I just hugged you…?! Bluek..!” Kame said mockingly with his delicate tongue stuck out to show how digusted he is right now. He sweeps his clothes to clean himself from Ryo’s scent.
“Yeah, you faggot.! You just hugged the Sexy Osakan Man.! Geez, now I really need to clean myself using the strongest detergent…” Ryo started mumbling while he busying dusting off his clothes. “Jaa… See you later, Hime.. This brat has ruined my mood.”
Kame can steals a murderous glare he got from Ryo for ruining his morning. Kame just stuck out his tongue and shrugged off the thought of that annoying man. It’s been almost two years he got stuck with Ryo as a roommate and he knew too well the other’s antic. Luckily Yamapi is not that annoying, just a little bit dumb.
Then Kame gives Tatsuya the biggest pout he would ever did for ignoring him. “Mou,Tat-chan.~ How could you dissed me off like that.? Look at what you did, I just hugged that midget and you even laughed at me. Tat-chan doesn’t love me anymore..!” Kame started to wail like a big baby himself and his eyes started to pool up with tears, indicating how sad he is with his best friend’s attitude.
“N..No, Kame-chan.. I’m not ignoring you. I just thought about my own safety since your hugs were always made me suffocate. I know you missed me, but it’s been almost every day you’ll give me that hug and believe me, Kame-chan, your hug was killing me. You don’t want me to die early, don’t you.?” Tatsuya said without losing a breath while a sweet smile creeps onto his delicate feature. Kame quickly nods his head like a wood-pecker he is and wipes his almost-to-fall tears away.
“Ne, Tat-chan. You know about that guy who I storied to you. The one who weirdly approached me to know me better and even changed his style for me.?” Kame said to Tatsuya while their hands entwined with a firm grip, proving the closeness of these two pretty boys.
“You mean, Tanaka Koki.?”
“Yes, yes.!”
“What’s wrong with him.? Did he do something to you.?” Tatsuya asked while his hand formed into a fist, getting ready to kill that Tanaka if what he predicted is true.
“No.! He’s not doing anything bad to me. Indeed, he is really kind to me. Other than you, he’s the only one who can sustain my bratty attitude. You know, like whining, pouting, crying for no reason, being such a drama queen for a small matter. He’s such a big softie indeed inside. It’s only been a week I knew him, but we have found our own chemistry. Like we’re exist to complete each other.” Kame said with a dreamy tone. Tatsuya could feel the other’s bright aura and his face shone brightly as he talked about Koki. Tatsuya smiles knowingly.
“You’re totally in love, Kame-chan, did you know that.?”
Kame could feel his face burning hot by that and he quickly gaze his sight to his best friend only to find a playful snickers on the other’s face. ‘No way.. I’m not in love… I’m still loyal to the one I truly love…am I..?’ Kame started to question himself, wondering hard on the validity of the other’s statement.
“Ha..ha.. Don’t say something that’s impossible, Tat-chan. I would never fall in love again. Not after….him….” Kame said the last word with a whispery tone, but Tatsuya can clearly hear that and he did nothing except to heave a big sigh. He clutched Kame’s hand tighter, trying to emit some strength into the other’s soul.
“Forget about that baka. He doesn’t deserve you. It’s his loss to leave someone like you and believe me, you deserve someone better. Maybe someone like Tanaka-kun. Anyway, you ought to introduce me to him, Kame-chan. It has been a week, and I didn’t catch a glance of that guy. Come on, when can I meet him.?” Tatsuya strikes a puppy eyes attack towards Kame, trying to lift up the other’s spirit. Kame can’t sustain a giggle and he pinched the older man’s cheeks playfully.
“Of course you can meet him. Indeed, I want to meet him now. How about you follow me and say ‘Hi’ to Koki-kun.? I think he’ll be with his friends right now. Well, truth to be told, he wants to meet you too.” Kame said enthusiastically, a big smile formed on his face as he can’t wait for the older to meet his newfound friend.
“Okay.! And me, Ueda Tatsuya will gladly accept that invitation.” Tatsuya said with a formal tone and both of them burst out giggling like a high school girls waiting for their dates. They swing their entwined hands cheerfully and head towards their next destination.

“Nakamaru-kun..?!”
“Ueda-chan..?!”
The two said persons looked at each other unbelievingly, earning confused looks from the other three. Koki who stood beside Kame looks at the other, trying to seek some answer from the younger, but Kame just shrugged his shoulders, indicating that he is as clueless as Koki. While Junno smiles knowingly at the scene in front of him. Koki realized that and he nudged the taller man.
“What’s wrong with them.? I’ve never seen Yuichi with that guy.” Koki asked Junno in a whispery tone as the silence started to engulf their surroundings. Yuichi and Tatsuya still looking at each other as surprised are still evidenced on their faces.
“That’s the guy that Yuichi told us just now. The newspaper boy.” Junno said with a big smile on his face. Koki nods his head slowly, finally understanding the true situation.
The two older men seem to be too absorbed in their own world and Tatsuya finally broke the silent mode.
“Nakamaru-kun, I miss you.!” Tatsuya said without a doubt and he lunged himself into Yuichi, hugged the other tightly and never intent to let the other go.
It has been three days after that incident, and Tatsuya has stopped his activity for a while to erase that bad dream. So, it has been three days Tatsuya hasn’t seen the older man and somehow, seeing the other in front of him makes Tatsuya’s heart jumps in joy. His heart badly aches for the other’s presence and Tatsuya himself doesn’t know why is that.
Yuichi’s face started to redden and his body was frozen on his spot, unable to form a reaction in this kind of situation. He can sense the other’s smooth skin perfectly and the warmth that emitted from that petite form. He can also smells the lavender scent from his hair and Yuichi is sure, he started to addict to that smell.
Kame quickly makes his presence there available and cleared his throat, trying to gain some attention from the two hugging boys. ‘Who is this guy.? Tat-chan never hugged anyone other than me. Geez.!’
“Tat-chan. Did you know him.?” Kame pulls Tatsuya away from Yuichi and he managed to give a murderous stare to Yuichi. Yuichi stiffened a bit on that.
“Haii..~ This is Nakamaru Yuichi, the guy that I told you before. He always gives me a company while I’m busy give out the newspapers.” Tatsuya said with smile never leave his face. Kame soften a bit when he see Tatsuya’s smile. ‘If this guy can create a smile on Tat-chan’s face, then he is my friend too..’
“Ano, my name is Kamenashi Kazuya. I’m Tat-chan’s friend and Koki-kun’s new found friend. Nice to meet you.” Kame tried to control his tone of voice and bows his head slightly towards Yuichi and Junno.
“Nakamaru Yuichi. Glad that I’ve finally meet you. Ueda-chan always talked about you. And this is-”
“Iriguchi, deguchi, Taguchi desu..!” Junno interrupts Yuichi halfway and introduce himself with his trademark and that clearly earns a smack from Koki. “Ouch, that’s hurt.”
“You’re lucky I didn’t kill you.” Koki replies with a murderous tone. Then he looks at Tatsuya who is giggling seeing Junno’s pun.
“You must be Ueda Tatsuya. Kame-chan always talked about you. He’s right though, you’re really cute.!” Koki said to Tatsuya and the other started to blush madly by that compliment. Somehow, someone was dead mad and Koki received a kick at his leg and causing him to squeal a bit. He turns around to see Yuichi gives him a mocking smile.
“Daijobu, Koki-kun..?” Kame said in a worried tone after seeing Koki was in pain.
Koki smiles brightly to Kame to ease the other down. “Daijobu. It’s just a bug.” He said while looking at the innocent looking Yuichi.
“Ano.. Do you guys mind if I grab Nakamaru-kun for a while.?” Tatsuya said sheepishly and Yuichi startled a bit when he heard that. ‘Am I dreaming.?’
“No.! You can grab him for how long you want, we don’t mind. If you want to kidnap him, then it’ll be our pleasure.” Koki answered quickly and Junno high-fives him while laughing maniacally together. Tatsuya lower his head to hide his blushing face and Kame just giggles seeing their closeness.
“Shut up..!” Yuichi kicks those two laughing buddies with his crimson red face. “Let’s go, Ueda-chan. Just ignore them, they’re bakas.” Yuichi pulls Tatsuya away from their friends and he bids Kame a farewell before they lost from the other three’s sight for good.
Yuichi and Tatsuya walk aimlessly in the campus in silence. A comfortable silence. Tatsuya was finding the pavement is more interesting to stare at and refused to look up. While Yuichi watches his surrounding except Tatsuya. It took them almost 5 minutes to break the silence.
“Do you want to say something to me.?” Yuichi can’t stand the silence and asked a stupid question to Tatsuya.
“Actually….no. I just want to see you.” Tatsuya said in his soft voice and Yuichi sustains himself from jumping around like a maniac by the other’s words. He pinched his cheek a bit to ensure that he’s still in a real world and smiles widely when he found that he is still not dreaming.
“Owh… Really..? Glad to know that.” Tatsuya swears he can hear a blissful tone by Yuichi’s voice and giggles a bit by that.
“What.? I didn’t do anything silly, right.?” Yuichi asked Tatsuya when he saw the other was giggling at him. Tatsuya shook his head cutely and tilts his head a bit to the side.
“You’re just too cute, Nakamaru-kun, that’s all.” Tatsuya looks intently at Yuichi once he finished his words and Yuichi was speechless once he heard that. Nobody called him cute before. The best call he got was ‘handsome’ or ‘smart’, but never ‘cute’.
They stood frozen on their spots, with eyes still connecting to each other. Tatsuya’s sincere smile never melts away from his face and Yuichi found it hard to tore his gaze away from the pretty boy, not after the other’s sincere statement. Yuichi was about to say something when a voice interrupts them. ‘Not again..~’ thought Yuichi.
“Tat-chan..!”
Tatsuya rolled his eyes annoyingly once he heard someone called his name. ‘Why am I so famous today.?’
Tatsuya and Yuichi both turn around to find their intruder. The three of them form a triangle once they look at each other. Tatsuya thinks hard when he see the other guy. That guy which has the same height as Yuichi was wearing a blazer and Tatsuya can caught a glimpse of white V-necked shirt inside his blazer. His jean was quite big for the owner but weirdly making the guy looked astonishingly amazing in that. His black fedora protects his long, dark brown hair from the shining sun. If Tatsuya took the first glance, he’ll think that the guy was a foreigner. But, he’s still clueless about the guy’s identity.
“I’m back, Uebo…”
Tatsuya palmed his mouth to cover his surprised to see the other man while Yuichi is still looking from Tatsuya to that guy in confusion. He scratched his head a bit and wonders, why he is always met a stranger when he is with Tatsuya.? While Tatsuya finally recovered from his surprised and utters a word.
“Jin…”
