Hmm. I can't read Russian at all, but looking at the words, I'm guessing that a more literal translation would be something like "Reading [is] not danger. Danger [is] not reading." I can't figure out how to enter some of those characters into Google Translate; I can't even find them in various pieces of Russian text to copy/paste. :-(

But it's a lovely picture and sentiment.

I'm relatively certain that justbeast is a native Russian speaker, so I'm confident that his translation is accurate. Having studied both French and ASL interpretation, I know that literal translations, while sometimes humorous, cannot be relied upon for true meaning.
