APPEARANCE.
◦ “Jack,” the demon said again, running black-painted nails over a black silk tie. Its shirt was white, too white for the real London, its suit coal, eyes and hair to match. In them an ember burned, the flicker of visible power Jack recognized from his own eyes. The demon’s were crimson with corruption, like oil fire floating on a darkened sea.
◦ The veins under the flesh stood out black as roads on a map.
◦ The theatrics ceased, and in their place stood a small man in a black suit and white shirt, immaculate tie pressed and done with a ruby stickpin. Belial smoothed his greasy hair out of his pure black eyes and grinned at her with shark’s teeth.
◦ Pete stood up. Belial wasn’t tall, in the body he chose to wear like a flash little overcoat, and she could nearly look him in the eye.

Everything and everyone in the Black knew what happened when a debt to Hell went unpaid, and they knew better what happened when the debtor tried to be clever and weasel out in any of the usual ways.
Clever boys’ bodies ended up in gutters. Their souls ended up on trial before the three ruling demons of Hell for breaking a bond as sacred as any church vow. No one who owed a demon a bargain was stupid enough to risk it.

THREADHOPPING. As long as it won't derail anything too important, have at it!
BACKTAGGING. Eheh, I am the queen of backtagging, I approve of and encourage it. It doesn't matter how far back the log is, trust me, I'll still reply back if you do.
TRIGGERS. "Mage", "witch", "magic", and any variations thereof are the buzz words that get his interest immediately. Otherwise, the man has no triggers, and neither do I. He's a walking trigger in himself, though.
If you're uncomfortable with talk of rape, graphic torture/violence, and anything else along those lines, PLEASE let me know right away so I can curb conversations as needed.
MEDICAL INFO. The guy's small and soft-edged build might say otherwise, but he's first and foremost one of Hell's best generals, and he's very fit despite appearances. He's also a pale little bastard, and several features might seem....off, when first meeting him. Teeth that seem just a little too sharp, eyes that seem just a little too dark, to the point that they might very well be all pupil. Otherwise, he comes off as a perfectly normal human to those who don't look at him too hard.
MENTAL INFO. He's a scheming, soul hungry prince and general of Hell. You don't want to know what's in his mind. But on the off chance you play a psychic and want to take a peek, drop me a line and I'll let you know some of the things they might read.
FOURTH-WALLING. As far as his biblical mentions go? Have at it. But not for Black London canon itself please.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. Are you reasonably attractive and have a pulse? Or even if you're not the former. Belial doesn't care. And if you're not initiating the contact, that's alright, too. He'll do it more than enough for the both of you. What is this "sexual harassment" that you speak of?
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. He's a demon. They don't feel for people in the same way that humans do, which means romance is right out. Sex, though, is very possible. He likes sex. He just likes it better when it involves questionable amounts of blood and gore on either end. You don't want to have sex with him.
INJURE/KILL. Killing I'm saying no to for now. But injuring, hell yes, show the slimy little bastard what for, he can take the punishment. Just let me know before hand so we can have fun plotting it out~

DEMONIC STRENGTH.
Belial gestured at the door and it flew off the hinges and clear across the kitchen.
RESISTANCE TO MAGIC.
It was a fifty-fifty shot as to whether the hex would hold. A thing made of magic against a bag of flesh with an unusual talent. This was usually the bit where the mage died horribly.
SUGGESTION.
"Don't hurt her," Pete said. She backed up a step, which lessened the thrall of Belial's power, but not enough to completely stem the tide of fascination. She wanted him to speak to her, to touch her and read her like he was reading the nurse.
"I want you to do it right now," Belial said, ignoring Pete completely. "Get up and do it."
The nurse stood, gathered her purse and coat from behind her desk, and left the ward without a backward look.
All it takes a is a little bit of demonic influence to lower a person's inhibitions, and then a small nudge in the direction of what they really want to do. The weaker a person's will, the easier it is to accomplish.
HEALING.
He does pull Jack right back from the land of the dead, even if it was in exchange for his soul. It can probably be assumed his abilities cover even little things, closing wounds or curing illness, though it's always for a price. For the low low price of your soul, of course. Or a favor. He likes favors.
As implied under the power of suggestion bit, Belial is very good at reading people. It comes with thousands of years of practice, after all, so with that said, what would Belial be able to pick up from your character when they meet? What are the insecurities he could pick up on, the desires he could exploit? Anything you feel he can read off of them, please list them here? c:
