I tried not to think too much about where this would be based in relation to both shows... Of course there were some special considerations.

To make my vaguely outlined plot work this piece takes place around five years before White Collar begins, and at the beginning of the first season of Supernatural; post-dead Jessica, and pre-shapeshifter!Dean. 1st/2nd season Sam and Dean can't be beat, and-- Well, Neal's been consistently adorable so I figure pre-jailbait Caffrey would have been completely irresistible. I love the idea of exploring him in his 'cheap wine and cold pizza' days.

If I don't allow myself to think too hard about it, then my universes line up nicely. :)
