There is plenty of time, but all the same, Dean makes it fast to the bar where he met David. It's quieter during the day, which is a good thing

David doesn't clean up. He is still covered in paint when he walks into the bar. Red paint, everywhere. His hands, his hair, his clothing. A few other colours have found their way onto him also. A few splashes of green, blue, some white. But it is mostly red.
He sees Dean straight away, but orders before he approaches him. A black coffee. The coffee is good here. Surprisingly.
David slides into the seat across from him. "Hey. Remember last time we were here? And what happened after?"
No small talk with David. Unless he is in one of his moods. Dean likes that a lot. Hell, he likes David, in a very twisted kind of way. He sips from his coffee.
David rubs his face. "You didn't feel too great after, did you? You made some stupid decisions. Ones I warned you not to make. And they didn't pay off."

Dean's never said to David 'thank you', knowing that he would shrughs it off or not believe it. But he is grateful. "Are you warning me again?"
