Dean walks past the bus terminal, on his way back from buying milk and then bread and other groceries. The rain is annoying, but the walk helped him some. He glances around and looks again. David. Difficult not to notice him, looking like a stray kitten someone kicked out of the house. Dean's first impulse would be to walk away, guilt having some part in that. But then again, what he said to David was true, he cleans after himself. Or can at least try. So he walks up to him, and speaks quietly.
Dean sits down too, not too close but enough to be able to talk privately. He rummages in one of his plastic bags and takes out a box of cookies, opens it and starts munching one, then passes the box to David, expecting him to hit it away from him.
