I can't thank you enough for taking the time to write a fresh comment on this fic. It means more than I can say to me both that you would even want to read it a second time and also that you would point out something that you specifically enjoyed.

On a related topic, I swear, the more fic I read featuring the character the more three-dimensional Dean becomes to me, which is such a credit to the show creators and writers as well as to JP for infusing Dean with heart and heat and humor and honesty enough to make him such a memorable persona that he's still inspiring fic writers to this day. I hope he's proud of his work there, no matter that he was so young, because it still resonates so deeply for me, and I don't think I'm the only one. *beams at you*

I couldn't resist coming back to confess that when I was giving props to the writers and all, I was secretly thinking that JP deserved more of the credit for exactly the reasons you said, for really inhabiting and breathing life into what could have been a standard "boyfriend" character. I wrote this to she_rockstar in a PM recently, but I don't think she'd mind me repeating it publicly more or less, almost word for word what you wrote about him staying present and reacting to the other actor or actors in every scene. He never just faded back and disappeared into the woodwork.

He reacted in character appropriately and vividly with just what was called for, and he did and still does that beautifully, and to me it is one of the hallmarks of true acting ability and the intelligence to use it. *thinks you may see now why I restrained myself in the earlier message and warns you not to slip up and hurt yourself in the big puddle of gush I just poured out* Hee!

P.S. Edited for typo! (Sorry.)
