Did it. :D

Let's just pretend I live in the US and not in a country where same-sex marriage is already legal with the same rights as those for straight married couples.

I filled out the poll even though I live in the UK. The Scottish gov't wants to make full marriage available to LGBT couples (currently we have Civil Partnerships) and the PM has made a commitment, too, to bring this forward, though not without opposition from church & religious groups it has to be said.

Thank you for taking the time to complete. Hopefully the opposition will not be strong enough to hinder progress.

I'm over 55, would you still like me to do the poll?

Yes, I will have to go and alter the age option.

Thank you for pointing that out and taking the time to complete.

Interesting poll. All I could think as I filled it out was, I live in Ohio were people like my own sister voted to make banning gay marriage a part of our constitution because her pastor told his whole congregation to "vote the way of the Bible". I get why she and my mom feel that way but I'm a lesbian in a 5 year relationship with someone I can see spending the rest of my life with. How is saying I don't deserve to be married fair? Then again, my mom's 68 and calls my girlfriend my "friend" but any time my brother's dating someone she's a "girlfriend". I'm learning that some people will never understand, and it seems to be those people (also unfortunately) who've never really had unconditional love in their lives.
