511, Friday Afternoon
Monday had started with cartoons in the common room, where he'd seen JD and met Peter and Pippi whose gold he did not use up, and who he didn't drag down to his level, whatever Luke might say in the future. Later on, Lyra, Evie and Chloe all came by 511 (Lyra because she lived there, obviously), and Dean realized Fandom had way more than its fair share of pretty, smart girls.
Tuesday was the day of the First Aid Course, or whatever it was called. Dean managed to embarrass himself and Evie more astoundingly than he ever thought possible. The CPR stuff came back to him easily with Dr. Reid, he learned a lot about burns as well as Mr. Gavin's possible insanity, met Alanna and a talking cat, and saw Peter again.
On Wednesday he had stumbled upon Rory, who always seemed to make him feel better and worse at the same time. Later on he found himself in the common room where Bel was seranading all by-standers. He also met Marie (who told him about basketball), Billy (who warned him off snickerdoodles), Lavender (who was yet another cute British girl) and Summer (who Dean thought might have been flirting, but really couldn't tell). And he got some info. from his big brother Walter, and caught up with Layla, who he was sorry to have missed earlier.
Thursday brought the obligatory school-supply-shopping, during which he stopped into the Perk and had a quick word with Evie, and thankfully everything seemed almost back to normal. That night found Dean once again in the fifth floor common room, only this time the entertainment came in the form of Anders dressed in drag. Right. It also gave him the opportunity to meet Bel, Mac, and Parker, the first two of whom were very nice and the latter who was more than a little scary. He also caught up with Lyra, and saw Alanna again.
And now it was Friday, and Dean definitely didn't want to miss the basketball game, so he figured he'd better head on down to the gym to see it.
