My little brother is a percussion major, and tomorrow is his junior recital. Sooo ....

( I spent today in the kitchen ... when I wasn't making yet another run to the grocery store for more of this or that. )

Thanks! The recital was good. He had one song where he and two of his friends just beat on a table, and one where he played this homemade instrument made of pipes and sheets of metal and blocks of wood. And one more traditional marimba piece. The cookies, etc., were a big hit. He said his friends said it was the best recital food ever. The drive was a bit tedious to go there and back in one day, but not too bad.
